Bank of Montreal (TSX:BMO)(NYSE:BMO) (the “Bank”) today announced that it has completed its previously announced issue and sale of common shares pursuant to a public offering and a concurrent private placement to investors at a price of C$118.60 per common share for gross proceeds totaling approximately C$2.6 billion, consisting of approximately C$1.6 billion of gross proceeds from the public offering and approximately C$1.0 billion of gross proceeds from the concurrent private placement to investors, other than BNP Paribas S.A. (“BNPP”). 

SNCF, DWS and CDPQ announced today that they have concluded the transaction whereby CPDQ has acquired the entire capital of Akiem, the leading provider of locomotive leasing services in Europe, from SNCF Group and DWS.
