Together, we’re growing Quebecers’ collective savings

La Caisse grows our collective savings while supporting Québec’s economic development.

How does collective savings work?

You are one of the 6 million Quebecers who contribute to this savings.

You do not deposit your money directly with La Caisse, but rather through various pension funds or public insurance programs, such as the Québec Pension Plan (QPP) or the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ), which are among our depositors.

The amounts deducted from your paycheque or that you pay when renewing your driver’s license are pooled and invested by La Caisse.

La Caisse’s mission is to grow this money to support the financial future of Quebecers while contributing to the development of our economy.

How are these savings used?

Money that goes to work

Our collective savings have a tangible impact: they help local businesses accelerate their growth and enable development of major infrastructure projects such as the REM et TramCité in Québec.

Thanks to contributions from millions of people, La Caisse invests in companies with big ambitions and in pioneering projects.

Investing elsewhere pays off here

La Caisse invests in more than 65 countries to seize the best opportunities. Investing internationally is a way to diversify our portfolio and generate returns for Quebecers.

By investing in promising companies here and around the world, La Caisse helps them grow, innovate, and create long-term value for the benefit of our depositors.
