Sarah-Émilie Bouchard is Executive Vice-President, Global Strategy and Chief Operating Officer. She is responsible for developing La Caisse’s strategic vision and ensuring organizational alignment. The teams she oversees—Global Strategy, Talent and Performance, Public Affairs and Data, Analytics and Technology Transformation—are central to transforming the organization, executing major cross-functional projects and maintaining a strong culture. Her mandate also includes managing relations between the institution and the executive branch of the Québec government. She sits on the Executive, Strategy and Execution and Investment-Risk Committees, the organization’s principal decision-making bodies.

Prior to her appointment in September 2025, Ms. Bouchard held the position of Executive Vice-President, Global Strategy and Governmental Affairs. She joined La Caisse in 2011 and held various positions in the Public Affairs team, then in the Strategic Communications team. In particular, she oversaw communications surrounding investment activities and led the organization’s financial results disclosure exercise. Previously, she was a consultant at public relations firm Hill & Knowlton, where she focused on crisis management and developing strategic positioning programs for clients in various sectors.

Ms. Bouchard holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Université du Québec à Montréal.

CONNECTIONS

Highly involved in the community, Ms. Bouchard sits on the Boards of the Fondation du Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec and the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation. She previously served on the Boards of La rue des Femmes for four years and Compagnie Duceppe for twelve years, including four as Vice-President. She was also Honorary President of the Soirée-bénéfice 2025 for the Fondation Duceppe, and won the Prix ARDI / Relève d’affaires, in cultural philanthropy, in recognition of her exceptional commitment to the Fondation. She was a member of the Board of Directors of Ivanhoé Cambridge until the operations of the real estate subsidiary were integrated within La Caisse in 2024.
