Contributing to Excellence


The Caisse encourages university students to choose a career in finance. It sponsors scholarships for students who excel in disciplines related to its investment profession. This in turn contributes not only to ensuring the quality of future generations of professionals but also to maintaining the competitiveness of the Québec workforce. Here are a few details on the Caisse’s involvement in this area:


UQAM-ESG Scholarships
Designed for undergraduate and graduate students registered at the École des sciences de la gestion of Université du Québec à Montréal in the following programs:

  • Bachelor of Administration or Commerce, with a major in Finance;
  • Bachelor of Economics, with majors in Economics and Finance;
  • Graduate diploma, with a specialization in Finance or Derivatives;
  • Master of Science in Applied Finance;
  • Master of Economics;
  • Master of Research, with a major in Finance;
  • Doctorate in Administration or Commerce, with a major in Finance, Economics, Information Systems or Quantitative Methods Applied to Management.


Scholarship in Economic Journalism
Designed for students in economic journalism at Université Laval who hold a Bachelor’s degree specialized in Economics, Business Administration or a related field. The candidates for this scholarship program must have at least one year of relevant professional experience or hold a certificate in journalism. For more information (in French only).
