Profile
Elisabetta Bigsby pursued her career at the Royal Bank of Canada from 1977 to 2007, where she was notably a member of the Executive Committee and the Chief Human Resources Officer. She also sat on the Bank’s Pension Plan Committee from 1989 to 2007. She currently advises companies on leadership development in cooperation with  the International Consortium for Executive Development Research, in Massachusetts. She is the co-author of the article Notes on a Transformation: One Company’s Journey.

Ms. Bigsby is a graduate from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Genoa, in Italy. She is a past director of the National Gallery of Canada Foundation, the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montréal, the Canadian Opera Company and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens. She was also a member of the Governor General’s Conference Advisory Committee and a trustee of McGill University’s Pension Plan.
