Risks Committee

 
OVERVIEW
This Committee is responsible for monitoring and controlling the risks related to the Caisse’s activities.


Mandate
Oversee and implement policies, guidelines and systems designed to maintain an acceptable level of risk for the Caisse’s activities.

Interpret depositors’ investment policies in terms of market, liquidity and credit risk.

Monitor and control risks and report periodically to the Executive Committee and Risk Management Committee of the Board of Directors.

Review the measures taken to manage risks.

Approve policies and limits to maintain the best possible balance between risk and return.


RC-Transactions
This Committee analyzes and approves the investment transaction proposals submitted to it by the investment teams or recommends them to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the Risk Management Committee or the Board of Directors, depending on the authorization level involved.
