Denis Epoh

Senior Vice-President, Strategic Partnerships

Denis Epoh has been Senior Vice-President, Strategic Partnerships with the Real Estate group since September 2009. In this capacity, Mr. Epoh is responsible for developing strategic partnerships to ensure the expansion of the Caisse’s real estate sector. Previously, Mr. Epoh was Senior Vice-President, Investments at the institution’s real estate subsidiary, SITQ.

Profile
With more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Epoh boasts considerable real estate expertise, specifically in investments and partnerships. He joined SITQ in 1995 as Asset Manager, and eventually became Director, first of portfolio management and strategic planning, then of acquisitions. He was later appointed Vice-President, Investments. After plying his trade as Vice President at PSP Investments for a few years, he returned to SITQ in 2007 as Vice-President, Investments, with responsibility for emerging markets, before he was promoted Senior Vice-President.

Mr. Epoh graduated from Université Laval with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, as well as an MBA specializing in finance. He is a member of several real estate associations, including the Pension Real Estate Association, the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate and the Urban Land Institute. He is also active with the Ordre des administrateurs agréés du Québec and the Québec MBA Association.

Connections
Throughout his career, Mr. Epoh was very involved in the training of the next generation of real estate professionals, specifically lecturing at several major Québec universities for more than 15 years. He was also a panelist at many real estate conferences, including, most recently, the Plan Sponsor and Minority Manager Consortium 2008, as well as India GRI 2008 and Asia GRI 2009.
