To grow the funds of our
Equity held by the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec includes:
- Shares of public corporations, traded on stock markets
- Shares of privately held corporations, traded over-the-counter.
All of this equity increases the return of Caisse’s depositors. As at December 31, 2011, the Equity class consisted of seven specialized portfolios with $72.82 billion in net assets.
