The CHUM is a world-class adult medicine teaching hospital affiliated with Université de Montréal. In this capacity, it plays a major role in the application of innovative approaches to healthcare, the search for new knowledge, as well as the transfer of knowledge to future healthcare professionals and those professionals aready working at the CHUM.
Additional information:The CHUM welcomes close to 115,000 patients in the emergency room and more than 450,000 patients in outpatient clinics every year. CHUM physicians perform over 30,000 surgeries each year, including close to 17,000 day surgeries. The Hematology/Oncology Unit welcomes more than 50,000 patients annually. More than 150 organ transplants are also performed each year in one of our three hospitals and, also each year, more than 2,000 babies are borm at the CHUM. The CHUM laboratories carry out around 8 million tests in a single year.

Project: Construction and operation of an initial phase of wind farms with an installed wind power capacity of 272 MW on the north shore of the Saint Lawrence, one of the largest wind power projects developed in Québec. The project is piloted by a consortium formed by Boralex inc. and Gaz Métro Limited Partnership and Valener Inc.
About the Seigneurie de Beaupré Wind Farms
With a total installed capacity of 272 MW, the first phase in the development of the Seigneurie de Beaupré Wind Farms will consist of 126 Enercon turbines. The project will see energy supplied to Hydro-Québec under power purchase agreements spanning 20 years, and commissioning of the first phase is scheduled for December 2013. Construction has already begun on the site and is proceeding as planned, with 41 foundations poured and 80% of access roads completed to date.

Investment: US$74 M, including an equity investment of US$28.3 M and a subordinated loan of US$45.75 M
