Profile
Pierre Miron was appointed Executive Vice-President, Operations and Information Technology on November 28, 2011. His mandate consists of continuing the repositioning work already initiated to enhance the agility and effectiveness of the teams in his sector in order to ensure they are well aligned with the needs of the business. Mr. Miron is a member of the Caisse’s executive committee.
Background
Pierre Miron has 25 years of experience in the field of information technology management, of which the last 15 years were in the financial sector. He joined the Caisse in February 2010 as Senior Vice-President, Information Technology. He previously held various management positions at CGI, National Bank Financial and National Bank of Canada. Mr. Miron holds a Bachelor of management information systems from Université du Québec à Montréal.
Connections
Pierre Miron is a member of the board of directors of Hôpital Louis-H. Lafontaine and is secretary-treasurer for the hospital’s foundation. He is also a member of the board of directors of “Le Boulot vers…”, an organization devoted to the social and vocational integration of troubled youth aged 16 to 25. In addition, Mr. Miron is a member of the Réseau TIQ, which brings together some 25 active IT executives from large companies and organizations in Québec.
