Accessing a document held by the Caisse
The Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information R.S.Q., chapter A-2.1, allows any person to obtain, upon request, access to documents held by a public body, subject to restriction the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec may apply under the Act.
To request access to a document held by the Caisse, please write to the person in charge of access to information whose coordinates are provided at the bottom of the page.
Please note that your document must be sufficiently accurate so that the required document may be identified.
Upon receipt of your request, a written notice indicating the date on which your request was received and specifying the time required to process it will be forwarded to you by the Caisse. Under the Act, the Caisse is required to respond to your request within 20 days of receipt of your request. This may be extended by a period of no more than 10 days, however, if the request cannot be processed without impeding the normal course of operations. In this event, the applicant will be notified in writing of the extension.
Should your request be denied by the Caisse in full or in part, you are entitled under the Act to submit to the Commission d’accès à l’information an application to review the Caisse’s decision. Your application for review must be made in writing within 30 days following the Caisse’s decision.
