Advanced training in good governance
In 2005, the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec created the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés to contribute to the development and promotion of good governance and offer high-quality training to corporate directors. The Caisse joined forces with the Autorité des marchés financiers, Université Laval’s faculty of business administration, and Québec’s executive council office to found and support the Collège.
The courses offered by the Collège are designed for administrators, board members, and pension committee members. They are given at the Caisse’s head office in Québec City by leading experts in their respective fields.
"At the Caisse, our investment decisions are based not only on the quality of companies, the strength of their management teams, and their growth prospects, but also on the soundness of their governance. The training offered by the Collège gives Québec companies access to the latest and best information on good governance practices."
